Kindergarten and Kandinsky

In Kindergarten, we talked about the artist Wassily Kandinksy this week. We learned that he loved music and art so Kandinsky would listen to music while he made his artwork. The music gave him ideas for his shapes and colors. We watched this VIDEO of one of Kandinsky's famous paintings, Squares with Concentric Rings. Now, kindergartners are tracing and CUTTING circles to create their own concetric circle artworks.
